19 Best Movies Starring Marvel Actors In 2015 (Ranked From Worst To Best)

18. Barely Lethal - Samuel L. Jackson

Rotten Tomatoes score: 23% Samuel L. Jackson may have been a very late bloomer when he decided to let go of hostage Martin Luther King Sr. (Google it) and embark on a career in acting but age never slowed him down and he became one of the most prolific actors in history. Because of this, Jackson has the ability to pick and choose whatever projects he wants. Sometimes, that means Pulp Fiction and others, that means Barely Lethal. You cannot deny that Jackson did not choose to feature in this movie based upon its potential for critical acclaim. In Barely Lethal (which I would joke could have been a substitute title for Beasts Of No Nation if I was a horrible person), Jackson is Hardman, the trainer of an international assassin named Megan Walsh, who just so happens to be a teenager. When Megan begins to notice that other teenagers aren€™t being taught how to kill people for profit, she decides that she wants to attend high school and become a normal teen. However, she finds that teenagers are horrible and murder-for-hire is a lot less daunting than surviving school. I€™ve got to admit, having training as a deadly assassin before you started high school would have probably been beneficiary for a lot of people. You should see this if: you don't mind losing an hour and a half of your life to a tweener movie and like to see young women roundhouse kick people whilst simultaneously deciding who to cull on Facebook.
