17. Vacation - Chris Hemsworth
Rotten Tomatoes Score: 27% Fair warning, Chris Hemsworth will be featured three times in this list, yet won't crack the top fifteen. However, the Australian hunk can probably afford to make some so-so movies when he's got Avengers money to soothe him to sleep at night. Thirty years ago, Chevy Chase went on a Vacation as Clark Griswald and became a star. Fast forward to 2015 and it's his son, Rusty (Ed Helms) who decides to take his family on a cross-country road trip in order to strengthen their relationships. Shenanigans ensue. Hemsworth plays Stone Crandall, the new husband to Rusty's sister. Stone's a wealthy chap who prances around in his underwear. And it's plain to see he's packing a Mjolnir worthy of destroying the Bifrost. Before you get excited, no, this is not Thor's real hammer but a prosthetic (which went from 8 to 10 inches in size because the director thought Hemsworth made the 8 inch prosthetic look too small). Vacation is the type of film that will probably make you laugh when it's at its best, however these moments do not happen very often and a large percentage of this film is comedy filler. You may not necessarily loathe its jokes but you are going to forget about it very quickly. You should watch this if: you feel the need to look in the mirror and keep asking yourself why you aren't Chris Hemsworth whilst also wondering why Hollywood is so afraid of pushing new ideas.
