20 Actor Nationalities You've Been Getting Wrong All Your Life

10. Nicole Kidman

"Ha! You're not going to fool me with this one, buddy. I already know that Nicole Kidman is Australian and not American - you can't trick me when it comes to the Kidman, okay? She's a bloody Aussie, it's well-documented, and she probably likes shrimps and Fosters or whatever it is that Australians like, too. BAM!" Wait On Second, Though... Nicole Kidman is probably the world's most famous Australian actress, and yet... she was actually born in Honolulu, Hawaii, which technically makes her American. Both her parents are from Australia, but she didn't go back home until she was four-years-old. She's able to claim both American and Australian citizenship as a result. So just chill out for a minute, will you?

9. Kiefer Sutherland

"Jack Bauer... Mr. Badass himself. Well, this guy can't be anything but born and bred in the good ol' United States of American, can he? How else would you explain the fact that his dad is Donald Sutherland, who... wait a minute, isn't Donald Sutherland Canadian?" Sure is... And yet Kiefer was born in London, England, of all places, to a couple of Canadian parents, and technically qualifies as a citizen of both England and Canada. So one of the most "American" characters on TV wasn't even partly American. Go figure.
