20 Actors Returning For Upcoming Movie Sequels

Spider-Man: No Way Home ended with Peter Parker (Tom Holland) having himself erased from everyone's memory in order to correct the unspooling multiverse, seemingly teeing up a sequel where he could operate as an anonymous Spider-Man once again.

This meant there was no guarantee that the next film would feature substantial if any appearances from Peter's girlfriend MJ (Zendaya) and best pal Ned (Jacob Batalon).

And as Spider-Man: Brand New Day is being positioned as the first entry into a new trilogy of Spider-Man movies, there was certainly the possibility that the first film would focus on Spidey operating solo before attempting to reunite with MJ and Ned in future installments.

But Zendaya and Jacob Batalon have indeed been confirmed to appear in Brand New Day. 

The size of their roles remain firmly up in the air, though reports have indicated that neither will have much screen time, which certainly makes sense considering that they don't even remember Peter at this point in time.
