20 Actors Who Died In 2020

Few actors ever get to make as much of a dent on pop-culture as Sean Connery, who was not only the first cinematic James Bond but, in the opinion of many, still the definitive article.

Without Connery's steely performance the Bond franchise likely wouldn't be the enduring monolith it still is almost 60 years later.

But that's not to forget the actor's other contributions to cinema - Marnie, Highlander, The Untouchables, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, The Hunt for Red October, The Rock, and Finding Forrester, to name just a few.

Connery chose to retire from active performance in 2006, and died from an undisclosed illness on October 31 at the age of 90.
