Brian Dennehy was a prolific stage, TV, and film actor, who is undeniably most fondly remembered for playing the villainous sheriff Will Teasle in First Blood.

But Dennehy had an incredibly diverse and enviable career, winning two Tony Awards for Best Actor for Death of a Salesman and Long Day's Journey Into Night.

In less-serious stakes, Dennehy's performance in the 1995 Chris Farley vehicle Tommy Boy is also one of his mainstream Hollywood high-points.

Most recently, Dennehy gave a sublime performance in the indie drama Driveways, released mere weeks after his death.

Dennehy died of cardiac arrest due to sepsis on April 15 at the age of 81.
