20 Actors You Never Knew Were In Star Wars

17. Kevin Smith - The Force Awakens & The Rise Of Skywalker

Nerd supreme Kevin Smith managed to score himself cameo roles in both of the J.J. Abrams-directed Star Wars sequels, The Force Awakens and The Rise of Skywalker.

In Episode VII, he provides a voiceover for one of the First Order Stormtroopers on Takodana, who outside Maz Kanata's (Lupita Nyong'o) castle shouts, "We have incoming at 28.6! Move!"

But Smith actually got an in-the-flesh cameo in Episode IX, appearing as a Kijimi inhabitant who Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac) walks past during the mission to extract the Sith text from C-3PO's (Anthony Daniels) memory.

Sensibly, Abrams kept Smith's face concealed from view, because nothing would break the immersion in a Star Wars movie quite like Silent Bob outta nowhere.
