Cold Souls is a great little movie, starring Paul Giamatti as an actor (and fictionalised version of himself) who gets so into his roles that he finds it difficult to disassociate himself from the characters he plays after filming comes to a conclusion. As a result, his mind and spirit are a mess and, when he sees an advertisement for "Soul Storage" (a procedure which physically removes the soul from one's body), he decides to go through with the process and trouble ensues - but he learns an awful lot about himself. The poster shows Giamatti in a Russian doll sort of situation, with a tiny version of himself being encased by increasingly bigger versions, which brilliantly represent the different layers of his character that are unveiled on his journey to finally find happiness.
