Starfox - real name Eros - is another iconic 1980s Avenger with strong links to the plot of Phase 3. The brother of Thanos, Starfox is another of the Eternals from Titan, but unlike his sibling he has powers of persuasion. As well as having an unusual power set, he has a back-story interesting enough to be the inspiration for more than one film. And don't blame him for the lame superhero name - it was the Wasp's idea (she felt "Eros" wasn't appropriate for the Avengers). The romantic Titan's powers have gotten him into trouble more than once - he was accused of using his persuasive gifts to get into She-Hulk's pants! Undaunted, he then had a fling with another Avenger. (Actually, she's the next character on this list.) Why he won't be in the Avengers movies: So far, the makers of the MCU films have shown zero interest in fleshing out the history of Thanos. Even the back-story of his adopted daughters, Gamora and Nebula, in Guardians of the Galaxy was limited to "they're adopted". This reluctance to say who or what the "big bad" is can only rule out the appearance of any more of the mad Titan's family, which is a shame since his fraught relationship with Thanos is one of Starfox's most interesting aspects.
