2. Bone Lake
There may be better horror movies in 2025, but probably none quite so horny as Bone Lake - an erotic horror-thriller in which a couple's getaway at a remote lakeside cabin is interrupted by the presence of another couple double-booked there.
You could certainly call Bone Lake a sexier analog to Speak No Evil - a similarly cringe-worthy outing which mines enormous squirminess out of awkward social interactions.
The fun ultimately comes in waiting to see just how far director Mercedes Bryce Morgan is going to push things, and quite how the interplay between sexual tension and violence will actually play out.
The four central performances from Maddie Hasson, Alex Roe, Andra Nechita, and Marco Pigossi are equally terrific, and the brief bursts of savage violence suitably wince-inducing.
This is definitely a horror film best watched without much prior knowledge of where it's going, so skip the trailer and just experience it for yourself.
