20 Awesome Moments When Comic Book Movie Villains Totally Owned

14. Knife Toss Approach - The Dark Knight

There are tons of "iconic" Joker moments to pick from (one of which you'll find later on in this list), but instead of always choosing the same old moments, right now we've opted to shed a little light on a tiny, tiny instance in The Dark Knight where the Joker just reeks of awesomeness. After egging Batman to hit him with his Batcycle, our hero diverts at the last minute and crashes his vehicle. As the Joker approaches the Caped Crusade, he casually tosses a knife between two hands. For a minute, all the silliness is drained. He's really scary - a moment he downright owns.

13. Intro To Lucas Lee - Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World

Chris Evans might be best known for his turn as Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but here he makes an appearance under a different guise - as villain Lucas Lee in Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World, a movie which pits Michael Cera's nerdish wimp of the title up against seven evil exes so he can win the girl. Before he's blown into oblivion, though, Lee shows Scott the definition of "owning" through a number of awfully awesome speeches, before walking off, answering a phone call and deeming whatever he hears on the end as "hilarious." So cool!
