20 Best Blu-rays Of 2015

9. Interstellar

The Interstellar Blu-ray has the deepest well of bonus features witnessed in the last year, which alone make the case for the price of admission. That's not even counting the fact this film looks absolutely gorgeous viewed on a 42" TV in 1080p; anyone who thought the aspect ratio changes resultant from Nolan's use of both IMAX and 35mm film would be a distraction when enjoyed at home was wrong.
As far as those aforementioned bonus features go, well - if you wanted a two-hour peek behind the curtain in how every single part of this film came together, you're in luck. It's all here - from how they accomplished the filming of all that godd*mn dust, to the surprising use of miniatures in some of the deep-space scenes. Absorbing stuff.
