20 Best Blu-rays Of 2015

2. Star Wars: The Complete Saga

Okay, so it's a double dip. Who cares! Look at that new badass image of Darth Vader on the front! And wait till you see the cool new extreme close-ups of characters on the covers for each individual film; Maul, Yoda, Grievous (although, really?), Vader, Gary the Stormtrooper, Palpatine. They're all pretty awesome (apart from Grievous). You can even get each film individually as a swish steelbook. If you didn't get the whole saga last time it was released on Blu-ray, then now is the time, as this set is none-other than the dreaded Limited Edition. It comes with the previously-released 40+ hours of special features, enough to keep any fan busy, along with old George Lucas-and-crew commentary tracks.
One of the real appeals of the new set, though, is a commentary track for each film that's actually been spliced together from a boatload of old archival audio; various interviews with the original cast and crew from the last 35 years that you'd be hard pressed to find in their original form anywhere else. It's a nice element of exclusivity to the double dip that makes it worth a second go-round.
