14. Big Hero 6 3D - Zavvi Exclusive Limited Edition Steelbook

Big Hero 6 deserves to go down in history as a contender to The Incredibles' superhero-animation crown. The film about a boy mourning the death of his brother, the robot he befriends in the process, and the superteam he forms around that (man this film has a lot going on) came out of nowhere to be a real crowd-pleaser and a bona fide tugger of heart strings. A loose (read: extremely loose) translation of an obscure Marvel comic, the film has seriously dynamic action sequences, an engaging and aesthetically-cool villain, and emotional connections between its main characters that really hit home. The limited edition steelbook that Zavvi hocked last year was an absolute wonder; as far as steelbooks go, it's definitely one of the prettiest out there. Fancy box presentation aside, the real draw of owning Big Hero 6 on Blu-ray is the video presentation; this was one of the most colourful, eye-popping films released in the last 2 years, and the Home Entertainment translation delivers that experience right to your door. What is perfect in the 2D copy included in this steelbook is somehow made even better for those of you who have a 3D TV at home. Seeing as the UK Zavvi-exclusive is region free, fans of the movie on the other side of the pond should seriously consider an import... if Zavvi isn't sold out, of course.
