20 Best Easter Eggs In 2017 Movies
2. Rey Saves The Jedi Texts - Star Wars: The Last Jedi

Like any new Star Wars movie, The Last Jedi is absolutely jam-packed with Easter eggs, the best of which is a clever sleight-of-hand on the part of writer-director Rian Johnson.
When Rey (Daisy Ridley) arrives on Ahch-To, she takes an immediate interest in Luke's (Mark Hamill) collection of ancient Jedi texts housed inside a sacred library.
However, after Yoda (Frank Oz) sets the library on fire and tells Luke, "There's nothing in there she doesn't already possess", it seems that the texts have become lost to time.
Yoda was actually being a little cheeky here, though, as he was speaking completely literally with his seemingly metaphorical statement. The end of the movie reveals that Rey did in fact remove the texts before Yoda's pyromaniac stunt, as they're visible in a drawer on the Millennium Falcon while Finn (John Boyega) cares for Rose (Kelly Marie Tran). Genius.
