"It won't be the nicotine that kills you," Blofeld quips as he grants Bond one last cigarette. But unbeknownst to Blofeld, this particular cigarette packs a certain punch. Squeezing it fires a deadly rocket into one of Bond's captors, providing him the ideal distraction to make his escape. Interestingly, this is one of the few entries to be found on this list that does not come from Q Branch, but instead comes from 007's Japanese ally Tiger Tanaka and his own team of agents. It's a very self-conscious nod to his own bad habits. He's a chain-smoker, heavy drinker, but as a man perpetually - and professionally - straddling the line between life and death, why not make the most of those unhealthy vices?
