Alright, so this one was a toss-up between Nux's (Nicholas Hoult) self-sacrifice and Immortan Joe's (Hugh Keays-Byrne) brutal death, but because the latter was so satisfying, we'll go with that. At the end of the film, Furiosa (Charlize Theron) manages to reach Joe's vehicle and hook his mask up to one of the car's tires. She tells him, "Remember me?" a mere second before Joe's jaw is torn off through the tire, resulting in this brief but extremely cathartic flash of gore. Given everything cruel and violent Joe has done throughout the movie, it was only apt that he'd get such a grotesque demise himself, and that it came at the hands of Furiosa no less only enhanced the film's lauded feminist core.
