Liam Neeson attempted to make up for the sins of Taken 3 with Run All Night, a half decent thriller where a hitman has to protect his son from the Irish mob. The movie was nothing special, but it was a pleasant enough way to pass ninety minutes. The standout set piece is a showdown in a flaming apartment, where Jimmy and rival assassin Mr. Price do their best to wipe each other out. The fire adds an extra layer of tension (and makes the scene look really cool) to the face-off, with flaming bits of wood and ultra hot surfaces being used as weapons. Odds are people have already forgotten about Run All Night or confused it with some other "Liam Neeson Is Feeling Grumpy" thriller but even theyd have to admit the apartment fight is pretty cool.
