An argument could be made that Mad Max: Fury Road wasnt the best action film of 2015; that argument would be wrong however. The film is chock full of exhilarating set pieces and vehicle carnage, and just when you think it cant possibly get any crazier it does. Director George Miller still found time to develop great new characters alongside the relentless pace, with Charlize Therons Furiosa managing to steal the show from the title character. The brawl between her and Max over the War Rig is a textbook example of how to stage a great fight; despite their skills theyre both impaired hes chained to a Warboy and shes missing her prosthetic arm and theyll both do whatever's necessary to win. The fight is beautifully choreographed and thoroughly nasty; both of them fight dirty and every bump and bruise can be felt. Max ends up winning just about thought both he and the audience realise that Furiosa is not to be messed with. What were some of your favourite movie fights of 2015?
