2. Rey And Finn Vs. Kylo Ren - Star Wars: The Force Awakens
The Force Awakens was one of the most anticipated movies of all time, so its a good thing the majority of people seemed to enjoy it. Sure it had plot issues (its J.J. Abrams after all) and it was essentially a remake of A New Hope, but the new characters were great and it helped get people excited about Star Wars again. Kylo Ren might already be on his way to becoming an iconic villain in his own right, helped in no small part by Adam Drivers performance. But he's not just able to come across a petulant child - he can bring it in the action stakes too. Unlike the fluid, highly choreographed fights of the prequel trilogy, the lightsaber battle here is a graceless affair, with opponents stabbing wildly at each other. They knock over trees and play dirty (turns out Rens broadsword design does have a function after all), and its a tense, gripping affair. The only downside is that the satisfaction of seeing Ren get his comeuppance will have to wait for another sequel; itll be worth the wait though.
