If the reaction towards the Ghostbusters reboot’s first trailer, which currently ranks as YouTube’s most disliked film trailer, is anything to go by, marketing movie remakes and reboots is a difficult thing to master. Not only does a campaign have to attract new audiences, it also has to convince original audiences of the new movie’s worth.

Where Ghostbusters failed this year, The Jungle Book remake succeeded. Its poster campaign harks back nostalgically to the original 1967 film’s visuals and characters, while showing off the wholly modern and visually stunning CGI that helped make the movie.
