20 Best Movies Of 2019

16. Shaun The Sheep: Farmageddon

Yep, the animated sheep.

Spun-off from Wallace & Gromit and already the star of his own TV show and one roaringly successful film (it's a lot better than you'd ever expect), the little plastercine sheep is back for a sequel that focused on an alien invasion. Naturally.

While it may seem, from the outside, to be a kids-only film, Farmageddon is ingeniously plotted, with a swag-bag full of sci-fi movie references, an ET-inspired story and WAY more genuine laughs than anyone could have predicted.

It's never goofy, it never talks down to its audience and it's easily one of the best animated movies of the year.
