20 Best Movies Of 2022 (So Far)

15. Jackass Forever

It's easy to see how a 2022 Jackass movie could've gone so horribly wrong - the world has changed a lot since 2010's Jackass 3D, and there was sure potential for middle-aged men brutalising themselves to seem both sad and played-out.

But Jackass has really always been about the disarmingly wholesome camaraderie between its focal group of fools, and Jackass Forever shrewdly mines the audience's fondness for these "characters" for all it's worth.

If not the most extreme Jackass movie per both the performers' ages and the restrictions of the pandemic, the crew more than compensates for it both by introducing a bevy of new, younger performers to the group and also doubling down on the hellishly brutal penile destruction.

Jackass Forever relishes deconstructing mainstream cinema's odd aversion to male nudity by including on-screen penises at every possible opportunity, the results of which are both hilarious and wince-inducing.

While this should probably be it for the Jackass crew, didn't we all say that back in 2010?

Also be sure to check out Jackass 4.5 on Netflix - a feature-length follow-up comprised of deleted scenes, interviews, and behind-the-scenes footage.
