20 Best Movies Starring Batman Actors In 2015

15. Terminator Genisys

Batman Alum: Arnold Schwarzenegger It appears that Terminator has officially become another in a long tradition of once-novel films to fall to the mediocrity that action movie franchises often create. Rambo, Rocky, Die Hard, Lethal Weapon, and now Terminator, all lasted much longer than they should have, eventually robbing themselves of the originality they had in spades once upon a time. Still, that doesn't mean Terminator Genisys is without its moments. Arnold is older, "but not obsolete" as he says repeatedly throughout this installment. And for the most part, he dives right back into his role as the trusty old T800, delivering a performance much closer to the deleted scenes from T2 (think of the young Ed Furlong trying to teach the robot to unconvincingly "smile") than his original, evil incarnation. That's all good, too, because the plot is completely up its own butt, trying to explain the bewildering new "twists" on time travel with nonsense phrases like "nexus point in the time flow" and just kind of...leaving it at that. So, unless you can enjoy the former Mr. Freeze settling into a role as the elderly comic relief, there's no reason to bother spending two hours on Genisys.
