19. Zoe Saldana - Gamora
The adopted (kidnapped) daughter of Thanos and eventually a leading member of the Guardians of the Galaxy, Gamora is one of the MCU's most complex characters, and also one of the toughest to get right.
Luckily, Marvel brought in the madly underrated Zoe Saldana to bring the warrior to life, and so Gamora instantly stole the show as soon as she turned up on-screen with all her cynicism and unshakable confidence in tow.
Saldana's performance over just four movies has been an absolute whirlwind of emotions, as she's been forced to find the battle-ready fighter, vulnerable child and conflicted sister within Gamora's unreadable outward facade, whilst being an endearing romantic lead for Star-Lord and a troubled daughter to the Mad Titan.
The upcoming Guardians threequel is sure to cement Saldana's place as an MCU favourite, as it's basically guaranteed she's going to knock James Gunn's script out of the park.
