Best: Birdman (2014) When she's cookie and quirky, Stone is usually at her most impressive - which Crazy, Stupid, Love and Superbad can attest to - but Birdman confirms her range. If the oddities of Inarritu's escapist fantasy give it wings, the performances - including Stone's - give it the strongest of foundations to fly from. Worst: Movie 43 (2013) If there's a single actor who has emerged from Movie 43 with their dignity intact, they're hiding it well.
