17. Too Much Slow-Motion (Wonder Woman)

Patty Jenkins did a mostly great job helming Wonder Woman, especially considering her lack of experience in the blockbuster arena, but did she really need to pepper the action sequences with so much damn slow-motion?

The over-use of slow-mo made the action feel cheesy and dated in places, and often felt like Jenkins was attempting to mimic Zack Snyder's speed ramping, something he's attempted to at least curtail a little in recent years.

The action was still fun, sure, but that nobody stepped in and suggested Jenkins tone the slow-mo down is pretty shocking. This is one of the few areas where a little executive input might've helped. Speaking of which...
