20 Biggest Mistakes In The DCEU So Far

13. The Joker Is Barely In It (Suicide Squad)

Jared Leto's The Joker is certainly the most controversial aspect of Suicide Squad, a radical divergence from the popular prior Heath Ledger portrayal, sporting peculiar head tattoos and clothing choices eccentric even for the Clown Prince of Crime.

The real problem with The Joker in this movie, though, is that he's barely in it. Yes, Leto never really gets to make the character his own, but considering how little screen time he actually has, is it at all surprising?

Leto has publicly spoken out about being in the film much less than he expected to, and it's clear that, for some bizarre reason, the role was scaled back in editing. Hopefully Leto might get another shot to truly prove himself in the role at some point, but it's honestly hard to take much away from his piecemeal part in this movie.
