20 Biggest Movies Of 2016: What Do We Already Know?
12. Uncharted
Release Date: June 10, 2016. Who's Involved: Seth Gordon (Horrible Bosses, Identity Thief) directs, while Mark Boal (The Hurt Locker, Zero Dark Thirty) writes the script. Casting is yet to be announced. What's The Story?: An adaptation of the iconic PlayStation video game series, in which modern day Indiana Jones himself, Nathan Drake, scours the world in search of priceless artifacts. Will It Be Any Good?: The Uncharted games are so absurdly cinematic already that the enterprise should translate extremely well to the big screen. Gordon is a slightly off-kilter choice to direct such an action-heavy film, but he's likely in good hands with Boal's script, even if Boal himself isn't exactly known for his quip-heavy screenplays. The casting of Drake will be super-important, but sorry guys, it probably won't be Nathan Fillion.
