20 Biggest Movies Of 2016: What Do We Already Know?
4. Hail, Caesar!
Release Date: February 5, 2016. Who's Involved: The Coen Brothers write and direct their latest comic effort, reuniting with frequent cinematographer Roger Deakins, and working with an insane cast including Josh Brolin, George Clooney, Channing Tatum, Tilda Swinton, Ralph Fiennes, Jonah Hill, Frances McDormand, Christopher Lambert, Scarlett Johansson, David Krumholtz, Clancy Brown and...Dolph freaking Lundgren. What's The Story?: Based on the real-life escapades of Eddie Mannix (Brolin) a Hollywood fixer in the 1950s who tries to figure out what happened to the cast member of a movie who disappeared during filming. Will It Be Any Good?: Um, yes. The February release date is a tad suspect for awards potential (unless the Coens just don't care about awards this time), but the plot sounds like pure Coen fodder, and the absolutely ridiculous cast should ensure plenty of inherent delight.
