20 Biggest Movies Of 2016: What Do We Already Know?

3. Warcraft

Release Date: March 11, 2016. Who's Involved: Duncan Jones (Moon, Source Code) co-writes and directs, while Charles Leavitt (K-Pax, Blood Diamond) joins in on scripting duties. The cast includes Ben Foster, Travis Fimmel, Paula Patton, Dominic Cooper, Toby Kebbell and Rob Kazinsky. What's The Story?: An adaptation of the classic video game series, Warcraft will establish the war between the humans and the orcs, depicted from both the Alliance and Horde perspectives. Will It Be Any Good?: Jones has proven himself to be a great director so far, and considering that filming finished in May of last year, that gives him almost two years of post-production to get it right. WoW fans will be the hardest to please, but if Universal can rope in the Lord of the Rings enthusiasts and general adventure movie audiences as well, they could easily have a smash hit on their hands, possibly spawning a franchise.
