During a moment of apparent downtime, the Commandant (Idris Elba) takes some drugs and asks child soldier Agu (Abraham Attah) to get on his knees to "do something" for him. The scene cuts away, but it's heavily implied if not flat-out stated that Agu is molested by the Commandant, as he comes out limping and looking miserable. It's not graphic in the slightest, but the implication is plenty horrifying, especially considering that it calls into question an earlier scene where fellow child soldier Strika (Emmanuel Nii Adom Quaye) was called into a tent by the Commandant. Harrowing.
