20 Characters Most Changed From The Comics In The MCU
17. Graviton
The Franklin Hall seen on Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. is so different to his evil comic book counterpart that he didn't even show any real signs of becoming a villain and the name Graviton wasn't even used in reference to him. The comic book version is a massively powerful character who was a physicist. He was involved in an experiment in a private research facility in the Canadian Rockies when a mistake in his calculations caused graviton particles to merge with his own molecules. This gave him the ability to mentally control gravity. He could use his power to lift islands, hold super-strong characters in place en masse, give inanimate objects their own gravitational field and use it to project concussive blasts. He also had a range of several miles. The Marvel Cinematic Universe version seen on television was a physicist and protected S.H.I.E.L.D. asset. He taught Leo Fitz and Jemma Simmons and was working on a gravity manipulation machine when he was kidnapped. When he tried to destroy the device, having deemed it too dangerous, he was consumed by it and seemingly killed - but a hand was seen moving inside it and he may yet reappear.
