20 Coolest Tracking Shots In Movie History

14. Spectre

Sam Mendes deserved all the praise he got for Skyfall - it was the leanest, coolest Bond movie in quite some time, aided considerably by excellent cinematography from Roger Deakins.

Deakins wasn't involved in the production of Spectre, and while the film as a whole isn't as impressive as Skyfall (perhaps more on account of the dullness of the script and it's gloomy locations), DoP Hoyte van Hoytema did manage to pull off an intense tracking shot for the pre-credits sequence. It's a shame the film went downhill from here.
