While there might be a scarcity of female stunt performers working in the film industry and much of the credit and praise goes to their male co-workers, Zoë Bell goes some way to redressing the balance. Nowhere is this more evident than in her amazing stunt work in Quentin Tarantino's contribution to the grindhouse revival, Death Proof. The film itself might be a far cry from some of the director's best movies but the final chase sequence in which the lead characters find themselves being chased down by the psychopathic stuntman, Stuntman Mike, is a sequence of pure cinematic magic. Bell, clinging to the hood of the car as it races along at a ridiculous speed, proves that gender is no obstacle to having a big set of balls in the stunts department. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f0_SJEkjQxY
