20 Creepiest Stephen King Movie Moments

12. Cat Mouth - Tales From The Darkside (1990)

Based on the anthology television series Tales From The Darkside; the film depicts a kidnapped paperboy who tells three stories of horror to the suburban witch who is preparing to eat him, à la Hansel and Gretel. In the second tale, appropriately called Cat From Hell, George A. Romero adapts a Stephen King short story of the same name. Millionaire Drogan (William Hickey) hires a hitman named Halston (David Johansen) to kill a cat. $50,000 up front and another $50,000 when Halston brings him the tail. Drogan believes the cat was responsible for a string of deaths and he believes he will be next. Halston takes the job laughing the old man off as crazy and senile; but Halston quickly finds out that this kitty has claws. Ultimately the cat proves to be too much for the hitman. When Drogan returns to the house to see if the deed is done, he finds that the cat has in fact killed Halston, by climbing down his throat. The cat emerges from the hitman€™s corpse and jumps at Drogan, giving him a fatal heart attack and proving that he messed with the wrong pussy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-SJAzpHg4s8
