20 Most Disappointing Movies Of The 2000s

10. X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009)

Hugh Jackman really does his best to try and turn X-Men Origins: Wolverine into something that you'd actually want to watch with your eyes, but even his excellent turn can't save this movie from outright sucking. When it was announced that Wolverine would be getting his own film - and one that would take a look at his traumatic and mysterious origin story, no less - X-Men fans backflipped with joy and waited with baited breath. Big mistake. So there's an awkward "Wolverine has a brother" storyline here, all wrapped up in a narrative to feels "been there, done that." The script is insanely cheesy, and most of the film consists of men shouting at one another - a damn shame, considering the potential of a solo Wolverine movie focusing on his origins. Thankfully, The Wolverine shipped into cinemas last year and finally did justice to a Logan spin-off flick. Forget this even exists.
