20 Doctor Who Actors Who Have Been In Star Wars (& 2 Who Will Be)
13. Hugh Quarshie
As Doctor Ric Griffin in the medical drama Holby City, Quarshie is a familiar face to many British TV viewers, but cinema audiences around the world know him better as Captain Panaka in The Phantom Menace. Years later (and not looking a day older), Quarshie got to flex his American accent again for Doctor Whos Series 3 two-parter Daleks in Manhattan/Evolution of the Daleks. In this 1930s New York-set tale of a Dalek hybrid and pig men, Quarshie played Solomon, a leader of the dispossessed in a "Hooverville" tent city near the Empire State Building.
