20 Doctor Who Actors Who Have Been In Star Wars (& 2 Who Will Be)
16. Garrick Hagon
It's time to mention another rebel pilot doomed to die in a fiery explosion in the Death Star trench! This time round, it's Biggs Darklighter, played by Garrick Hagon. Hagon played the childhood friend of Luke Skywalker in 1977's A New Hope but he had already appeared in Doctor Who in 1972. In The Mutants, an allegory of fading colonial power, he was the rebellious Ky alongside Jon Pertwee's Third Doctor. Forty years later, Hagon returned to Doctor Who as the undertaker, Abraham, in the Wild West story A Town Called Mercy, trying to measure up Matt Smith's Doctor for a coffin.
