There are plenty of terrible scenes in 2004's Halle Berry-starring Catwoman movie, but none were as unconscionably idiotic as the basketball game between Catwoman (Berry) and Detective Tom Lone (Benjamin Pratt) at the encouragement of a playground full of kids. The scene's set to Mis-Teeq's hit tune Scandalous, the editing is atrocious, the camera angles are constantly dutched, there's not really any actual basketball being played, and there's a "cheeky" sexual tension to the whole thing (pretty inappropriate given the setting, no?), which ends with Catwoman landing on top of Tom after sinking a shot. It's a scene that tells the audience almost nothing worth knowing, a painfully stupid 100 second abuse of a classic DC character. And then there's the rest of the film...
Stay at home dad who spends as much time teaching his kids the merits of Martin Scorsese as possible (against the missus' wishes).
