20 Easter Eggs In Spider-Man Films You Didn't Notice

19. Peter Parker Draws Stingray (Spider-Man)

In the first act of Spider-Man, as Peter Parker is figuring out his new powers and looking to fashion an identity for himself, there's a brief montage showing him planning out the various aspects of his persona, most prominently his suit. We see a brief image of Peter drawing a character who will certainly look familiar to comic book fans, and that's Stingray, whose exoskeleton suit grants him superhuman strength and speed, as well as the ability to breathe underwater, withstand underwater pressure that would kill any normal human, fire electricity, and even glide through the air. The shot appears on screen for only around a second, and to most viewers will likely seem like a quickly mocked-up Spider-Man concept, but in fact it's a reference to a character who can't exactly be described as a fan favourite, but should still be recognisable to most avid comic book fans.
