19. Farewell To Brian O'Conner - Furious 7
The Moment: Paul Walker's untimely death in November 2013 sent shockwaves through Hollywood, as well as sending the already in-production Furious 7 into a tailspin. As such, the movie's plot has been reconfigured to give his character, Brian O'Conner, a fitting send-off, and the filmmakers have promised that the character will be "retired" rather than killed off, with his two brothers Cody and Caleb helping to finish his performance off (along with the aid of some CGI). Why It Will Define 2015: Because Walker's tragic demise was one of the most shocking celebrity deaths of the last two years, and it's unavoidably going to have a significant impact upon viewers this year. Whether it's a dignified send-off for the late actor or a CGI-infused mess, fans of the franchise are going to remember it forever more, hopefully for the better.
