20 Flawless Scenes From 2021 Movies

2. No Time To Die - The Death Of James Bond

No Time to Die made some huge mistakes and while it is a good film, it most certainly isn't a great one by any stretch. Still, this ending is more or less perfect.

Thanks to the intensely emotional writing, Cary Jojo Fujinaka's terrific direction, superb performances from Daniel Craig and Lea Seydoux (playing Bond's girlfriend and the mother of his child) and an Oscar-worthy soundtrack from Hans Zimmer, James Bond's sacrificial death is a devastating dramatic punch that'll leave grown men sobbing into their popcorn.

Honestly, it's hard to even think about this without feeling emotional, but the tears you may shed will be both happy and sad ones for, as sad as it is to see Craig's Bond die, the movie does give him a heroic sacrificial death, with Bond having also conquered his demons beforehand. It's a flawlessly bittersweet ending, which is exactly what the best incarnation of Bond to date deserved.
