19. In The Heights - Opening Number
In the Heights is a very good film musical indeed and you'll realize this pretty much immediately, as it hits the ground running with an incredible opening song - the title track "In The Heights".
These opening minutes of the film are like a concise summary of the awesomeness you're about to witness; they fully display the film's stunning choreography, direction and acting alongside the absolutely extraordinary song-writing prowess of Hamilton's Lin-Manuel Miranda, who wrote the musical upon which this movie is based.
And sure, the rest of the movie doesn't quite live up to this but it comes close many times. Unlike with the aforementioned Black Widow, this excellent start was actually a sign of things to come in regards to the rest of the movie.
