18. Proud Of Your Boy - Aladdin
A beautiful song that was dropped thanks to wide-spread story changes, but which would have made a great and emotionally loaded addition to the film. The song also includes Aladdin's mother, one of several characters and storylines from the original folk tale that were dropped after the initial treatment (for which composers Howard Ashman and Alan Menken wrote several songs.)
It is a true shame that Proud Of Your Boy was never included, or animated for inclusion as part of a Special Edition package as some of these missing songs have been, though it was included on the 2004 special edition of the soundtrack.
