10. Pyramid Head Rips Anna's Skin Off - Silent Hill (2006)
2006's Silent Hill adaptation wasn't perfect, but it certainly got far more correct than most video game movies, and above all else absolutely nailed the style and tone of Konami's survival horror games.
Fans were especially overjoyed that the original film brought iconic villain Pyramid Head to vibrant life, who in his most unforgettable moment grabs one of the Brethren cult, Anna (Tanya Allen), rips her clothes off, and then goes one better by tearing her entire skin off.
Not one to be outdone, he then hurls Anna's skin against the nearby church door while still holding her crimson skeleton in the other hand.
Even for Silent Hill's standards this was positively revolting, and assured everyone watching that the filmmakers were pushing the R-rating as far as they possibly could.
