20 Greatest Video Game Movie Moments EVER

16. "Objection!" - Ace Attorney

Mortal Kombat
Toho

As soon as a Japanese adaptation of Ace Attorney was announced, fans awaited the glorious day where they'd sit down to watch the film and be greeted with the most obviously fan-serving of moments: rookie lawyer Phoenix Wright (Hiroki Narimiya) shouting, "Objection!"

It is of course the staple of the video game series, enough that even those who've never played an entry into the visual novel franchise may be well familiar with it.

And director Takashi Miike ensured fans got their crowd-pleasing moment, as during one of the opening courtroom scenes we see Wright shout his iconic phrase and even point his finger accusatorialy.

The air-whipping sound of Wright's finger-pointing combined with the ultra-dramatic music only makes it that much more awesome. Bravo.
