3. Roger Lloyd-Pack - Barty Crouch Sr

It's rather a shame that the Goblet Of Fire's length meant that some tough decisions had to be made in terms of cutting the run-time to more manageable levels, and one of the biggest oversights was the necessary trims to Barty Crouch Sr's backstory.

He was still a good character - mostly because of the casting of British veteran Roger Lloyd-Pack - but removing his nefarious involvement in releasing his son from Azkaban left the character poorer.

Lloyd-Pack was mostly known for his long-running appearance as Trigger in Only Fools And Horses, but his career clocked up many, many appearances, including - no surprise - in Doctor Who. He sadly died of cancer on 16th January, 2014 aged 69.
