Slow-building tension and disquieting atmosphere collide brilliantly in this mystery horror about a woman whose husband has been missing for seven years, with her sister coming to stay with her when pressure mounts to officially declare him “dead in absentia.”

While trying to deal with the loss, the sister keeps being drawn to a mysterious local tunnel that she suspects has something to do with the unexplained disappearance of her brother-in-law and many others.

It’s impressively done on a small budget, with better performances than you might expect from this sort of thing and genuinely impressive CGI. It’s a perfect example of the type of generic-looking horror you might skip past on Netflix but is actually well worth your time.
