This compelling mystery horror centres on a father (Ray Wise) who is reluctantly driving his family to his in-laws for Christmas.

Instead of taking the main road as usual, he decides to a take a shortcut but what was supposed to save time eventually turns into a nightmare when it appears that the road they’re on just keeps going and going seemingly without end, with every sign pointing to a destination they never reach. When they pick up a mysterious woman in white, they start noticing disturbing supernatural occurrences.

Featuring a strong cast that also includes Lin Shaye and Alexandra Holden, this is a horror that does a lot with a little. There's a neat use of suggestion and making you imagine the worst without physically showing all on screen, and it’s one you won’t be able to shake easily from your mind.
